After effects or Nuke?
Hello! Hope u can help me with this one
Im working as a freelance doing visual effects and video editing.. And I’m using Adobe After effects for fx and FCP and Premier for video editing.. Syntheyes for 3D tracking, C4D for 3D
I cant make up my mind, Do I take courses in C4D and After effects or take a new courses in Nuke and C4D? Why some productions work on Nuke? What’s the share market for Nuke vs After effects?

Nuke is the new Shake. Most compositing for broadcast and film happens in Nuke today. Nuke offers big benefits on capabilities, workflow, and pipeline integration.
After Effects owns the motion graphics market, and is frequently used for lower-end compositing.
As to where you should focus your studies — I suppose that really depends on what you want to do and what the shops you freelance with are using.
