Hi, i am using Adobe After Effects CS5 and any white object (a simple shape) turns out grey.

Let me explain further. New composition(black) click the rectangle tool, select White FFFFFFF (top left corner), drag and draw shape, BAM its grey. I have not touched, updated, or done anything different. opacity= 100%

When i open illustrator, and draw a white box, its perfect. To be sure I drew a black box and a white one over it. I know this must be simple but i cannot figure it out.

    Please help

Your Fill’s opacity may be set to something less than 100%. If you had changed the Fill’s opacity after clicking on the Fill name at the top (Toolbar Area) then each time you create a new Shape Layer, the opacity settings will inherit the value you had set, there, previously.

This is true for other settings in the Fill dialog window.
