i was using after-effects in my dell inspiron i5 4gb ram laptop with inbuilt graphics for a while. last day i buy a new amd fx6300 processor and gigabyte motherboard with 8 gb ram. as the motherboard dsnt have a video out, i used my old nvidia geforce 7300se 512mb graphics card to get video out. i ddnt buy a new graphics card because i read after-effects and premier wont get much advantage from graphics card.but the new amd system is not performing better than my laptop. after applying few filters like colorista im not getting real-time preview.. how can i improve performance of aftereffects ?

[Sibi Manjale] “im not getting real-time preview”

You don’t have realtime preview in AE. https://helpx.adobe.com/after-effects/using/previewing.html

That is completely untrue about Premiere Pro. Premiere Pro gets a huge benefit from the GPU. After Effects, not much.
