After Effects – Need help animating lines?
i want to show the contour of a golf putting green, basically I want to lay down some sort of a mesh then animate it with arrows and colorize it red on high points, green on flat and blue on down slopes. Is this too difficult for a noob? can someone please help! -

you are going to need to be MUCH more specific…
Sounds like you are talking about something in 3D…best solution is to create it in Photoshop…break it into slices, then animate those on…just a guess based on the information you gave…

yea i want to create it in 3d space so when i pan around the putting green the terrain mapping sticks to the green. sorry if im not making sense total noob here still learning. thanks

This is not to say that it would be entirely impossible to pull off something like this in AE, but it really sounds like a full 3D application will be much more suitable for what you’re trying to do.
