    Hello people,

I have a problem with the multithreading in After Effects on my Mac Pro.
Everytime i start a rendering all of the 16 Cores are used to their maximum capacity and my system gets slowed down extremely. so that virtually nothing works anymore. This problem occurs when i render or i start a Ram Preview.
If anyone of you could help me to set up my system and/or After Effects in a manner that i can use multithreading i would be very happy.

here the details about my system:

mac pro with 2 x 2,66 Intel Xeon Quad Core Processors
    16 GB Ram
    ATI Radeon 4870
    OSX 10.6.7

    after effects cs5 10.0.1.19

i´m looking forward to your answers
    cornel
