After Effects – Mocha iPad track with reflections
Hi guys, I am having a tracking issue that I can’t seem to figure out how to do. Ive seen similar tutorials on YouTube but it just doesn’t work.. There is a lot of movement with the camera and the camera is pretty close to the iPad so the iPad goes off screen a lot, not just that but there is a lot of reflections moving around. I manage to track it close but it just won’t stay still.

I suggest using Mocha AE and following tutorials that show you how to avoid the reflections by tracking the edges of the tablet. If there are significant times it goes offscreen, you might have to stop the track and move the search area to another area or parts of the background that are moving relative to the tablet.
If you have exhausted all the advanced Mocha techniques and still have tracking drift, then you use Mocha’s Adjusttrack module or in extreme situations, the Manual Track.
