    Yeah, that’s what I thought.

I’ve had an AE 6.5 Pro upgrade (from 6.0) on order for a couple of months from Computer Warehouse.
A few weeks ago they sent me the upgrade. It was an education version.
I called them. “Is this the right thing?” I asked.
“Er… No. We’ll have to collect that from you & send on the right thing when it comes in stock.”
    “Oh. Okay,” I said.
They collected it. I waited. I waited some more.
Then they called me. It will be coming in stock on the 20th & will be despatched to you then.
    “Excellent!” I said.
    Yesterday they called me.
“Adobe have made After Effects obsolete. All 3 of our suppliers have said the same thing.”
“That’s ridiculous,” I replied, but the sales assistant was adament. They refunded my card.
I called Adobe technical support. “That’s ridiculous,” they replied.
    “That’s what I said,” I said.

Can anyone shed any light on this, er… laughable state of affairs?

To be fair, they are rubbish. A bunch of box shifters. But they’re one of the largest of all the box shifters & they were half the price of getting the upgrade anywhere else.

Under normal circumstances, the saving would be worth using a bunch of turbots but not if they can’t supply it, obviously!

PB is Production Bundle. It’s the most complete version of AE. If they are selling it for that price than it is illegal. It should at least be $999.00 US. I bought mine for $1499 a while back and that was down from the $1899 that I remember it being.

Actually, the price is about right for a 6.0 PB to 6.5 PB upgrade.
