Ehy guys; Since i’ve installed AE (2023) on my new PC i have noticed that it doesn’t work as i aspected.AE lags heavily even just moving three keyframes of the position. (The comp is very light, I specially created about thirty black solids of 100px each for the test).I specify that even dragging the interface panels to resize them creates the same problem. From the resource management i’ve noticed that the processor isn’t struggling, same (rightly so) the graphics card.Electricity consumption instead skyrockets as soon as I move the keyframes. The PC specs (which I am attaching) do not explain this behavior in any way. (I add in addition to the specifications that the power supply is a V1000 Cooler Master). I attached a WT link for the screen recording with the example: https://we.tl/t-6tAONsHyoNDoes anyone have any idea why it’s doing this?Thank you all.

There’s a LOT of layers and keyframes there. I’ll never truly understand AE’s relationship to a computer’s RAM, CPU and GPU, but that many layers each with their own keyframes will cause a slow down. Maybe not as much as you’re seeing, but try a test comp with only one layer and see if the problem recurs.

You could also check to see if you’re project is software only or if you’re set to use one of your GPUs. (File>Project Settings)
