After Effects keeps using up all Ram even when ideal
I’ve been using Ae for the past 5 months with no issues.
All of a sudden, I keep getting “Unable to allocate memory…” error even on basic compositions.
The annoying thing is that, when I open up task manager to preview my memory usage ,Aftereffects.exe keeps increasing like a time bomb until it uses up all my memory even when AE is ideal.I used to be able to handle complex compositions ,now i cant even handle a simple text layer without using up all of my memory.
Ive tried everything – disabling multiprocessing ,resetting preferences, using 8 bpc,purging… but nothing seems to fix it .
system stats = 8gb ram, windows 7, i7, Nvidia GTX660m
