After Effects Immediately Crashes
Hi guys! New Windows 10 laptop, been using AE 2018 from the creative cloud for the past few weeks, haven’t had any problems until yesterday. I didn’t install anything new, as far as I know Windows/Adobe didn’t update at all, but suddenly when I went to open the program it goes through the normal scanning process and thendoes this:
I don’t get a chance to click or do anything, it’s just immediately a giant white box, and then it goes into “Not Responding” and then it crashes.
I looked on a couple different sites for possible solutions, and ended up trying a few different versions of AE. Exact same results. Uninstalling/reinstalling does nothing, none of my other Adobe programs are having this issue. Have already tried running as admin, have already tried closing literally every other program before opening, have already tried opening it on a separate admin account on my laptop.
If anyone has any ideas, please let me know ???? Thanks in advance!

Try resetting your preferences (re-installing does not do this). Hold Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows) or Command+Option+Shift (Mac OS) while starting After Effects.

How about uninstalling/removing third-party plugins and scripts?
