This may be a basic question but I’m fairly new to Avid….When I make an image/movie in After Effects (or Photoshop) and import it into Avid Media Composer, Avid ‘squeezes’ the image vertically leaving short letterbox bars at the top and bottom. A friend told me to use 720×486 (D1) size but it still happens. What should I be using/doing? It’s very frustrating.

    Thanks folks!

Yuo can change your import settings so it won’t resize or render at 720X540 for a square pixel import.
