After Effects help..
In after effects 6.5 you can make a line with the paintbrush tool.
I was wondering if that is possible in After Effects 6.0, if not can anyone make a plugin for it, I need this urgent

I think there was an effect called Vector paint in AE 6.0. It was hard to use, but look for it.
You could also create a mask/path in the shape of the line you need, and then apply the Render > Stroke effect to the mask/path. You can animate the start and end point of the stroke so that it draws on.
