    Hi, I apologize if this is in the wrong section as I believe this will end up being more of a tutorial. However, I saw the commercial a brewmasters touch by blue moon https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=udPTYrD4kko and I was wondering what the effect they used was and if there was a tutorial for it. I believe it is going to be under cartoon but there is also a slight stop action. Thanks in advance.

    I’d say most of this is shot as a stop motion, and then they just painted on each frame.

    Thanks sir! Do you know if the effect has a name? I ask because I would like to find a tutorial for it, but I don’t know where to search.
