I’m trying to import an exported clip from AE into Avid Xpress DV 3.5 but once it’s into Avid the clip changes colour or the quality is terrible. As far as I have checked the settings for AE and Avid are the same, but it’s just not working. Does anyone one else have this problem or know how I can prevent this from happening. Any help would be very helpful!
    Many thanks,
    Martin

What codec have you saved your video from AE?

I am using the make movie option to create a QuickTime using the DV-PAL compressor, I’m not sure about the codec, how can I tell?

You should be able to send your movie to the Render queue and use the Animation codec which is recognized by Avid. The best solution would be to install the Avid DV codec into your system in a way that AE can use it as well for export into Avid.
