April 20, 2006 at 8:43 pmDid you put the *new* Plugin for AE (the one that gets installed with V8.2.3a) into the correct AE folder? It is right that V8.2.3 now exports XML files to AE, and you need the new plugin to read them.

April 20, 2006 at 10:11 pmInside your Applications->Media 100 i folder should be a folder labeled Adobe AfterEffeccts Plugin. In that folder is the Media 100 XML Project Importer. Copy this into your Applications>Adobe AfterEffects->Plugins->Standard->Format folder and you should be up and running.

April 21, 2006 at 3:37 pmthanks Floh, “you done it again!” saved the day.
I’m gettng a slight error, when I import the file to AE, (6.5), it takes most of the file, but then reads: After Effects: AEGP Plugin Media 100 XML Program Importer: Assertion Failed: lastEffectInfo = = OL at (module info not available) [0x00000000]
and the comp comes up a couple shots short of a full timeline…
any thoughts?again, thanks

April 21, 2006 at 3:46 pmNevermind Floh, it doesn’t like Media100 black… I took out the black slug at the end and got a good import.
Thank you again.bubba
