    Got a problem running AE7.0, on an Intel MacPro, with plug ins.
    Sometimes i get an error on some files but not others
    “After Effects error: Tint returned invalid
    max_result_rect from
    PF_Cmd_SMART_PRE_RENDER
    (25::237)”

    any thoughts, ideas, or suggestions?
    i do have 8 but my client needs an AE7 file.

    saw a fix in another thread,
    adding a Color Balence(HLS) plug in before the bad one worked. seems fx order has something to do with it too.

    I KNOW THE SOLUTION!!!!!!
    In the error, it has a certain effect, in my case it was fx_transform. in yours, its tint. all it means is there is too much of this effect. I had fx_transform throughout my whole video and after I took it off, NO ERROR!! Simply take some of the tint off and you’re good!
