January 20, 2006 at 1:36 pmHave you tried switching off OpenGL? AE’s implementation of it wasn’t very good before AE7, apparently.

January 20, 2006 at 1:49 pmactually… i made the layer not a 3D layer… than inside of zaxwerks 3D flag I selected use comp camera and lights… now it works

January 20, 2006 at 2:09 pmWOW… a spinning CC sphere with zaxwerks 3D flag behind it; is only rendering 2 frames a minute at full res on a dual g5… i got the quad at home.. im at one of those times where my home comp is faster than the office… ahhhh what a great feeling

January 20, 2006 at 3:05 pmYep – if you have a layer with a “3d” effect applied, the layer should be a 2D layer. At best, it will look like a flat movie screen with a 3D movie playing on it. At worst, you’ll get an error, apparently.
