My apologies if this is an easy fix as I am relatively new to AF. I’m using FCP 6.0 and AF CS3 8.0.247.

I’m editing DV material in FCP and am exporting small clips from my timeline to do some Blemish fix on an actor. I’m exporting as Quicktime reference movie in dv ntsc 29.97 fps. I import into AE fine and all frame rates match in “interpret footage”. I do my AE work and export back to FCP using the QT animation codec. When I take the clip into the FCP timeline it is absolutely everytime, two frames short of the original clip.

I’m on 6 hours of trying to figure this out. I’m hoping this is a simple newbie problem.
    Thanks in advance,

    Dean

    Thanks Dave,
Actually I tried it both ways with the same results. I was trying to save some time as there are 20+ little shots to be converted.
