Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew why I am having this problem. I shot video on a canon 7d and then after working on the files inside After Effects, it does not render the audio for some of the files. About half of them render the audio and the other half don’t. I have converted the files before hand to a verity of formats but none of them work. I have also tried creating new projects just in case i screwed up in the project settings, but it still wont render. When I play the original and converted files in quicktime, the audio is fine. I really have no idea what is going on and would be curios to know if anyone else knows why this is happening and also if there is a solution.

Just to ask right off the bat, have you made sure you have the audio checkbox checked in your export settings when you send it to the render queue?

Hi, I have converted it from uncompressed AVI to apple motion jpeg but none seem to work. I am using cs4 and the original footage is h.264. Thank you all for you help. I think my best bet right now is just to synch the sound back up in vegas.
