  After Effects Custom Output Suffix

  Hi,

  I’ve not played with this function before but inside of AE render you can select ‘output to / custom’ and add a suffix based on lots of values.

  Is there anyway to link it to a layer name or drop down menu effect within a comp?

  I’ve built a toolkit with language drop down to control fonts and translation; EN, FR, AR etc etc.

  What I really want is for the file name to add a suffix based on the language so it would read the drop down effect. Is that possible?
