I use Sony Vegas 8.0 pro for editing my movies and I am a new user in After Effects. Is there any way to import an edited project from AE to Vegas for further editing and “stuck” it with a project I am already editing in Vegas without rendering it (first) in lossles format in AE (too big files!)or extracting it in PNG and JPEG sequence files? I am mostly interested in AVCHD format but the codec H.264 in AE crashes the system.

ONly PremierePro allows for such a workflow. Your best bet is to render out from AE.

Thanks Roland. It seems that rendering in uncompressed avi or extracting in JPEG, PNG sequence is the only way to Vegas!
