    this sounds like something you should be able to do without much trouble unless you’re not familiar with AE’s 3D space. It’s best to look at purchasing one of the COW’s Master Series DVDs.

    But to get you started, here’s what you can try.

    Place all of your images in a comp. Make them 3D layers. With the layers still selected, press ‘P’ to display their position properties. Then offset their z-position in increments of 100 pixels so that they are laid out in z-space. Ensure that you also view your comp in Custom View so that you can have a better view of what’s happening to the layers.

    Once they are laid out nicely in z-space, you’ll then need to offset their x-position. Do likewise to the x-position of the layers as you did to their z-positions, ie. offset each layer’s x-position parameter by 100 pixels.
