After Effects Crashes due to connection to external monitor
My AE 18.2 (Mac Catalina – iMac 2019) crashes all the time – as early as when it starts up. Have to force quit all the time.
I just figured out it was due to it being connected to my external monitor. Never had that issue with the previous AE build or any version of Premiere. Disconnected it and all good now.
Hoping some Adobe monitor sees this and pass along that info – this needs to be fixed for the next version.

What kind of monitor?
Does it crash with other apps e.g. Resolve, Maya, InDesign, etc….
Is the GUI set to full screen at startup?
Did you delete your prefs and start again?
