I composed an intro in After Effects 6.5 using several layers (about 10 seconds long). When I imported it into FCP (in animation) it worked fine in the editing window but once I put it on the time line it stuttered and skipped several frames at the same point each time. I’ve tried piecing it together but it just doesn’t look right. What gives?

Thank you for you anticipated response.

When you say “in animation” I assume that means you rendered to the Animation codec.

How about rendering from AE to the codec of your FCP sequence? DV, for example, if you have a DV setup.
