    added text, light and now a plane under the text , selected compositing on plane and unchecked compositing background.

    how ever when i scroll through the time line in after effects i can se the cornes of the plane and it dont look right.

    I think the easiest way to achieve this would be to use object buffers in C4D Lite

    This tutorial talks about it. I’ve linked to the start of the shadows bit and he talks about it for about 8 minutes.
