After Effects CC Pixel Polly Effect
I am trying to use the CC Pixel Polly Effect but every time I drag it onto my text it make the text immediately disappear. Any suggestions?

by default pixel polly has settings in the first 3 properties that cause it to start working at inpoint of the layer (usually the inpoint is the beginning of the comp).
to prevent that you’ll need to set those values to zero, then key frame them when you need them to start. or split the layer at the point where you want the effect to start (edit>split), and remove the effect from the lower layer.
