hi, i want to track a shape layer with extrusion into a shot, but i get this weird distortion, looks a bit like lens distortion, in the C4D renderer. Is there a way around it? tracked cam is super wide but I just have a null and a 24 mm lens on my cam in AE. changing the lens doesnt seem to do much, that makes me believe it might be a glitch after all? any ideas? buttons i might have overlooked?

    im on 23.6.0

    thanks for your help!!!

Not sure if this will 100% help you but this tutorial I found on YouTube talks about Lens Undistortion and it basically explains on how you can undistort your image or video file that you are editing before you go deep in the editing, no plugins required. Since you said it can be lens distortion not making your project as good as you hoped. Hope this helps you in some ways: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aweJgGc6GYc

Sorry, it’s not really clear to me what we’re looking at in the image you’ve posted.

I do expect you’d see some perspective effect from the camera out in the corners of the image. Was the track solid? Is the orientation of the null you’re attaching to maybe off from what you expect?
