After Effects Animation Preset cs5
Just installed CS5 and a handful of plug-ins (Magic Bullet, Boris, Trapcode) and when I load any effect (3rd party or not) in the effects pannel I am not seeing the drop-down menu for animation pre-sets. They are available in the effects & presets pannel, but not in the effects control one.
What gives?

Adobe’s GUI developers, decided to hide these by default. They are still there, activate them from the panel menu.
There’s no GUI like a new GUI.

Many, many people asked for this change.
Consider that a small minority of effects have associated animation presets, so that UI control was useless in a great majority of cases and was therefore wasting space most of the time.
BTW, this and every single other change between After Effects CS4 and After Effects CS5 is listed here.
