    Hello guys!
Read this or/and watch the video in the end:

I’ve got the flipping-ticking counter video and want to add a tick.wav to each flip.
Never worked with audio in After Effects, but as far as I know it won’t allow comfortable editing and previews.
Dynamic link to Premiere should have saved me.
However after adding all the sounds I wanted, I noticed that sound was constantly self repeating inside AE.

    Tell me please
    1. If there is an easier way to work with sound in AE.
    2. Where did I go wrong, working with the dynamic link.

Created this hopefully self explaining video:

Thank you in advance, beautiful people!

Try copying the audio into a new sequence and importing that via Dynamic Link into Premiere. Or just export your sequence as an audio file and bring into After Effects.

AE is not really made to work with audio so in general I like to add my audio in Premiere after I am done with After Effects. But you may have reasons for not doing it that way, so either of the above solutions should work.

Thank you and sorry for long reply.
The 1st method didn’t get any different result ?
The 2nd method is not a dynamic link usage, but at least it works.

Sad to realize there is no stable solution for a task like mine with Adobe products, hehe

    Thanks again, Daniel!

You could render the video out of AE into an intermediate codec and then do your sound design fully in Premiere. That’s how a lot of people work.

That would mean there is no more dynamic link. The entire topic I started was only to make DL work. But nah Im currently rendering the audio from PP to AE
