    Hi,

So I made some AE animations (newsticker, dynamic logo) to accompany some convention footage during the entire (!) sequence.

    So my question:

Do I have to encode the entire video in AE to keep the animation or can I somehow only encode the effects and integrate them as a layer in the Premiere editing?

It’s just because AE takes so freakishly long to encode and can’t handle some of my preferred mp4 codec settings.

(I have AE CS4 and Premiere CS3 by the way. Heard about dynamic uplink in the next versions but I don’t have that right now.)

render a loop-able gfx sequence in AE with alpha and comp in Premiere over your footage- just make sure you interpret the footage to loop for the period of your whole piece.
