After Effects and FCP 5 with IO
I working on some graphics in After Effects 6.5 and previewing with the IO on a external sony monitor. After I render my comp, I fire up FCP 5 to check my graphics in the sequence. On FCP start up I get an error stating another device is using the video output.
Is there a conflict with the IO and using two different appliations? The only way a can stop this error is close AE, then fire up FCP. Not to much of a problem, but I would like to keep the projects open on both apps. Is there a option to change set ups in the control panel?

Try clicking on the desktop before switching to a different application that also uses the Io’s video outputs.
