    To be kind – a video link is just that, a video link. What you think that video link presents may be different for us- all I see is an 80’s tv show… so if you want help put in the time and be more specific- is it the 80’s look (the way the video looks, crappy), or something else we missed after the first few seconds of watching- without a specific time reference no one will watch a long piece to try and figure out what you are referring to.

    What I want is to be able to recreate the effect that makes video look like that, like the quality. I hope that makes sense. Sorry for not clarifying what i was asking about.

    AE has some preset effects for “Bad TV” (type that in the Effects window). You can start by using that- of course you will need a lot of tweaking.

    One other way of doing it is, if you have a VHS player/recorder, to record your footage to that and then capture back.
