I’m new to AE7 so sorry if this has been posted before (couldn’t find anything though) …

    This sounds simple:

I’ve got two position keyframes on a solid and I simply want to make the solid follow a curve instead of a straight line. In after effects 6.5 I would (and have on many occasions) use the convert vertex tool on the solid to give bezier handles I can then use to get a satisfactory path. But when I try this in AE7 nothing happens – am I missing something?

First make sure in your view options you’re viewing handles. Select both KF’s and right click and goto keyframe interpolation. Make sure that it is set to bezier in the comp window. Then you should be able to shape your curve.

    Thanks for the reply.

After I posted I went to preferences and display and changed the motion path setting from none to all keyframes which did the trick.
