After Effects 6.0 Crashing on start up :(
I haven’t used after effects in a few months, but I know it used to work. Now when I start it up it crashes halfway through launching. It gets as far as “Scanning folder:standard effects” and then the whole thing shuts down without warning.
Here goes the usual life story:
After effects 6.0, Pentium 4 3ghz, 1 gig ram, Windows XP service pack 2.
I’m also running premiere pro and photoshop cs etc and they are all fine.
I have re-installed after effects and the exact same problem occurs.Software I can remember intalling since last using afx is:
motorola and nokia mobile phone software. I hope not but maybe there are some conflicts in there?Thanks for looking, hope you guys can help!

… and 6.0 was buggy. You may have to shell out for an upgrade.
