after effect presets
The production house i’m employed at has after effects 6.0 but it dosn’t seem to have the effect presets that i have my own version of after effects 6.5 for the MAC. Question? is this only in 6.5 and if it is also in 6.0, is there any place i can down load it for the 6.0 version for windows? Oh by the way they no longer have install disk so I can’t go there for it if it’s there.

Most presets are just saved effect settings and keyframes. They were called “favorites” pre-6.5.
Try copying everything from your presets folder and load onto the 6.0 machine, into any folder. Try to apply a favorite (effect>apply favorite, if I recall) by navigating to the folder and picking one of your presets. If it doesn’t work, it could be that you don’t have the effect or that you have an older effect in 6.0. Also, text presets created in 6.5 may not work in 6.0.

sorry!!! it was too old of an program and it requested it should upgraded to use the presets
