After effect, effect
Hey, i wondered which glowing effect did the designer used to create the sword effect (in the description he said he used after effect):

i tried to contact him but the last time he was online was 8 months ago :/, i did try almost every effect in the after effect, is it combination of 2 or more?Thank for helpers!

Definitely a combination of several effects. Which is usually the case. Animated fractal noise, turbulent displace, glass or displacement mapping, masking, glow, and particle effects at least.
If you want a single effect that will get you closest, it would be Video CoPilot Saber. But that won’t stay in the shape of the sword, so you will have to use a mask to keep it within that shape.

there is maybe any tutorial for something close to it?, i couldn’t find any, this shining glowing effect that slides over the sword, i just cant seem to find the right effect for it,
