    After effect CS3 settings

    Hello everybody,

    Hope you all had a good Christmas. I made myself a new computer (Intel quad core 2.5Ghz, Raid 0 1tb internal hard drive, 500 mb external hard drive (USB 2), 6GB RAM.
    I’m running on it After Effect CS3 (I know it’s not using 6GB RAM but only 4) and I am wondering what settings in terms of memory I should apply in order to optimize the rendering and the RAM preview. Could anybody help me out please?

    I believe that you can only get a max of 2GB per core.
