  After CS6 update to RedColor3 old projects will not playback

  I just updated Macpro on 10.6.8 running Premiere CS6 to be able to use RedColor 3 by replacing the ImporterREDServer and ImporterRED.bundle files as per Adobe instructions. All works fine on new projects since the update but going back to older CS6 projects (old means with the same software version but only created just prior to the update) all clips and sequences will not play back.

  I can scroll through the timeline as well as click on a clip to bring it up in the viewer and the clips will load, the playback symbol changes to a triangle and the timecode advances but the video does not playback, I only see a freeze frame from the point where i clicked on the clip.

  Replacing the update files with the originals again solves the problem but now I am stuck with projects that have the old color science that I would like to combine with the new, and all the pre-grading i did with RedCine in Redcolor 3 cannot be applied if stick with the old RedColor import settings.

  any suggestions would be greatly appreciated – Brian
