Hey guys! I have this big problem, I was working for a week on this animation on after effect and after having finished it, the client tells me that it’s google ads and that it must be a gif or an HTML file and I’m going to explode because I don’t know how to solve this problem if you could help me it would be great.

I already tried to make an ANIMATED GIF file but it must be 150kb and only manage 9MB.

You can try making a GIF through photoshop:

-Export your animation from AE. If there’s no alpha channel, you could even try a more compressed format like h.264.

    -Import>video frames to layers

    -Export>Save for Web (Legacy)

-Choose GIF and then pick a quality that gets you to the right file size

I was planning a tutorial on making GIFs in AE, but when I started experimenting I couldn’t get nearly as good compression and quality as is possible with a web service like: https://giphy.com/

I occasionally need to make GIFs to, so I prepare an MP4 and upload it there and download the result.
