Importing any sort of transcoded AF100 AVCHD footage into FCP7 turns it darker by a good 1-1.5 stops. Original footage via MPlayer X is fine, original footage in Premiere is fine, even footage transcoded to ProRes via ClipWrap is fine… until I import it into FCP, whereupon it turns darker.

It’s not a monitor issue, footage will look different on different programs on the same monitors.

    FCP 7.0.3 on OSX 10.7.3.

Already did the whole pref zap/permissions boogie.

No problems whatsoever with GH2 AVCHD.

    What the hey?

Are you referencing against you computer monitor or a broadcast monitor?

    Either.
