    Hi everyone,

I would like to start an AE rendering of image sequences through the CMD Command Prompt on Windows (I know how to use it in Terminal on Mac)

    I typed in lines like

    .\aerender -project “projectfile.aep”

    or

    aerender -project “projectfile.aep”

or using “aerender.exe” instead but nothing seems to work.

It always says -> ‘aerender’ is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

    What am I doing wrong?
Can anyone help me on this?

    Any help appreciated. Thanks.

You need to either run the command from the After Effects program directory, or you need to provide the complete path to aerender.exe on the command line:

    "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe After Effects CC 2019\Support Files\aerender.exe" -project "D:\My Great After Effects Projects\projectfile.aep"
