.aep projects default application problem
I installed After Effects CS4 on brand new computer and everything was fine, then i remembered that I have some old projects created in After Effects 7.0, so I installed the 7.0 version. Now when I try to open the AEP projects the default is After Effects 7.0, even when right click – open with – after effects CS4, I got After 7.0 starting. I tried changing the default opening program, but when I select CS4, navigate to program files/etc. it goes back and only After 7.0 is showed.

Windows 7 32 Bit, I had them on a previous machine and they worked with no problem.
I tried opening the projects via open file and they are working fine, in fact the whole application is working fine, the only problem is opening the projects directly with double click. -
it should fix with hold down right shift then right click open with, browse to application-check box always open with.

I cant select CS4, because when I select the app it goes back to the menu where only is 7.0 Icon and it says Adobe After Effects.
