    AE8 crashing on initializing using interface after Lion install

    Hi,

    Upgraded to lion on my MacPro Dual core 11GB RAM. Was fine before, not a problem on my MBP, but I have Kona LHi with latest drivers, FCS is fine. AE8 (CS3) gets to “loading user interface” and crashes. I get the old “AEGP Plugin Media IO Plugin: Invalid Argument Index! Medial02 error: 0xc0080002” (5027::12) error msg. Any thoughts besides upgrade to CS5? 😉 Thanks!

    Any Rosetta dependent plug-ins?

    Rosetta (PPC code support) is gone in Lion.

    Thanks Brian. Finally got it. Was as simple as old school deleting AE 8.0 prefs, just took a while to find them as Lion’s Home>Library is now a hidden folder.
