ae7 precomps – close it, but i don’t go back to my original comp
searched the forums but haven’t found anything.
seems to be similar to the incredibly annoying “alphabetical tabs” issue.when i open a precomp and work in it, then close the precomp, i’m not taken back to my original comp (the one i opened the precomp from). i’m taken to the comp whose tab is immediately before the precomps tab. then i have to scroll through all my tabs in my timeline to find the one i was working on.
in a large project this gets very disorienting!WTF ADOBE???
6.5 always took me back to my original comp. adobe have really f’ed this up.can ANYONE please help me here?

No, there is no way around this. This is an “intended behavior” just like AE re-arranges tabs that are not locked when you open a project. 😐 It’s more than annoying, but rest assured, I will make it a point to pester the Adobe people so they change it eventually.
