  ae7 mped2 dvd render crashes

  I have a project with 10 animations for an english lessons dvd, all kind of cutout tiff scans of cartoons.The tiffs are on the large side, around 2000×1000, quite a few layers each.
  I get various different render errors,like avi error,unspecified error,codec mismatch,out of memory,ae crashed etc.Usually before 30% completition.I managed to render one by disabling the opengl preview, but it doesnt make any sense, since its not involved in rendering.I can render uncompressed avis or quicktime.I had similar crashes on divx codec too.I just cant understand what could be wrong.
  My pc is a p4 3ghz, x1600 ati, 2gb ram.
  Anybody else had similar problems?
