AE7 – Missing objects
Hi all,
I have a problem saving my AE projects. When I open a saved project some objects seem to have disappeared (this is not because i have moved the drawings to another location). Also, some intricate masking i had time has also got confused with layers it wasn’t supposed to. All layers appear in the timeline. The layers have also disappeared from the project window.
I’m importing layers from an .AI file as a composition. could it be a problem with the AI files?
Has anyone else encountered this problem?

What “objects” are missing?
Mac or Windows?
Standard or Professional?
Which version of Illustrator are you using?
Are you importing as a Comp or footage?

Layers are missing, or the image(object) that is on the layer. the actual layer still remains on the timeline.
AE7 pro.
Windows XP
A.I. CS
I originally imported AI file as a comp, but then have added images as a footage as well. We are talking one composition here, with about 10 layers.
