  • AE7 layers disapearing on Field Render

    Hello,

Have an AE7 project with all layers in 3D space. RAM preview looks great. Render lower field first, and some select layers disapear. Render w/no fields, and all layers appear normally.

Consistently the same layers. Add more layers, subtract some layers – the same images disapear. They are all stills. Have re-saved with photoshop, made sure they are RGB, still no luck.

Work around has been to render at 60 FPS with no fields, then 200% the clip in FCP to get fields.

Would prefer not to use this solution, and render normally with lower field first. Thoughts on what I’m doing wrong?

    Thanks!

Maybe you are viewing them too much flat on and they become thinner than one scanline. Other than that make sure to have enough spacial separation between the 3D layers. Even “Advanced 3D” is prone to causing clipping/ overlap errors if your layers are too close to each other.

    Legit thoughts, thanks.

However, the images are always 90

Mmh, that’s really odd, especially since they show up on higher-fps renders sans scannies. I’m afraid the only immediate solution is to realyl use that 60 fps approach you were describing.
