AE wont make visible layers!?!????
Hi ya,
I have made a character in Illustrator with lots of layers (30 odd?)
When importing the illustartor file into AE as a composition – cropped layers…. all I see is black!… IF I then turn OFF the visibility of the layers one by one, it only actually shows me the layers once I have only a few ON.
make sense?… hopefully.
Is there a reason for this please?

What version of AE? What version of Illustrator? What’s your OS? What are your system specs? Are you using OpenGL to preview in AE?– The Great Szalam

Thanks for your time but it has sorted itself out!… I think it was because I am working at a hi res with a not very good computer so it literally took over 10 minutes to register each layer!!!!
Downsize me thinks.
