AE will not add EFFECTS to imported FW text.png file
i created beveled text in fireworks and imported into AE as a png file…. issue is how do i add EFFECTS to the text? if i create text within AE i can add effects no problem but adding effects to the png text does nothing…please advise, thanks

If your trying to add the Text animation presets to an image it won’t work. They only work on text. Effects should work just fine, but not animation presets.
