    Anyone know if I could use my old Avid Raid to work in Final cut pro? The drive is VR-RTR320 (SCSI Ultra 320)and was used about 3 years ago before making the switch from Avid to Final Cut. Been just sitting on a shelf since then.
    I would think you could simply use this like any external Raid, just wipe out any old Avid files and start fresh? SCSI is a little outdated but all I would need is a card for MacPro tower.
    The real key would be making it work with a MacbookPro, but I don’t see any converters that would turn the SCSI to firewire 800?

    If you can find a SCSI connector for your MacPro, it will work fine. Adapter for laptop? Nope… No firewire converters, no Express34 adapters.
